A Minor Setback, or Not

The gentleman who had arranged to take possession of the vessel, a Mr. Benjamin Aaron, has, in fact, had second thoughts. This fine water conveyance is now considered to be too large for his front yard.

I have seen vessels that fit handily in the average yard. They are usually around 17’, but not much fun to drink in.

The previous owner of this vessel did not have so much a yard as a ranch, complete with sheep, making the Spencer 28 a suitably sized lawn ornament.

So Mr. Aaron will be off on the hunt for a more sizeable sailboat, and I am back to the drawing board.

I was having a hard time parting with five years of my life anyway, and why not love the one you’re with?
